The contents of the survey are the types of teaching materials in which Manga is used and the educational role Manga played in Japanese textbooks. The results of the survey are presented in a table with the following items “( School type”,“ Publisher and volume”,“ Page”,“ Name of teaching material”,“ Role of Manga”). Based on the results of the survey, we noted the following points:\n1. Manga was frequently used as a “model to navigate activities” and as an “aid to omprehension”; 2. Manga itself was assigned in a recommended reading book list; 3. Manga was recognized as a form of expression unique to Japanese culture and used as subject matters for writing; 4. Manga was considered to be an appropriate reading material; 5.
