Googleストリートビュー?は世界中で高密度なルート沿いのパノラマ写真画像を提供しており，その中には地質事象も多く見られる。理科の授業では，最近，野外観察に代わる方法として活用されるようになってきた。地質に対する生徒の理解を深めるために，我々は日本の地質事象に関する写真画像の例を抽出し，それを使った学習方法として，現地での地質事象の産状の確認，学習単元項目に関する観察調査，地域の地質の成り立ちの確認調査について考案した。中学校理科での授業実践を行ったところ，授業内容に関して興味・関心が高く，しかも取り組み意欲が強いことが生徒のアンケート結果で確認された。Googleストリートビューを活用することによって地質学習に大きな効果をもたらすことが期待され，より適切な地質事象の写真の蓄積とともに，教師の授業展開での工夫によってさらに進展してゆくとみられる。 |

Google Street View® has provided the panoramic pictures including many geological objects along highly dense routes in the world. It has recently become utilized as a substitutable method for the field observation in the school science class. To deepen student's understanding of the geology, we extracted the suitable picture examples of geological objects in Japan and then prepared the study plans; to check the onsite occurrences of each objects, to recognize the differences among the similar objects treated as the learning contents, and to investigate the local geology of school area. After practically bringing the plan into the science class of secondary school, high interests and strong willingness were confirmed by the student's questionnaire. Utilizations of Google Streetview® certainly afford an adequate effect in the geology study and will be advanced by accumulations of more appropriate pictures, also by teacher's arrangements in the class development. |
