To address these challenges, it is essential for school organizations to reevaluate their operational methods. Additionally, the demanding work conditions faced by teachers have become evident, leading to calls for work reform and process improvement. In response, our team school has allocated responsibilities to the principal, vice principal, head science teacher, and curriculum coordinator, focusing on upper-grade science specialization and small-group instruction. Our goal is not only to provide comprehensive guidance to students needing special support or seeking academic improvement in the upper grades but also to enhance overall school performance and elevate the teaching capabilities of all educators. Simultaneously, we aim to reduce workload and address excessive working hours. In this article, I highlight the practical steps taken as a vice principal to support upper-grade students and emphasize science education. For science lesson planning, we have adopted a teaching style that aims to “ignite children's curiosity“(inspire) and have clarified three essential perspectives.
