| 内容記述 | The increasing presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education has introduced new opportunities for English Language Teaching (ELT), with ChatGPT emerging as a valuable tool for lesson planning, material development, and assessment. However, pre-service teachers often lack the necessary AI training to effectively integrate these technologies into their instructional practices. This study investigates the perceptions of pre-service ELT teachers at a university in Miyagi, Japan, following their participation in interactive workshops focused on lesson design, rubric development, and instructional material creation using ChatGPT. A pre- and post-survey approach was employed to assess participants’ familiarity with ChatGPT and their willingness to adopt it in their teaching. The findings indicate a significant increase in participants’ willingness to incorporate ChatGPT into their instructional practices, reinforcing the need for structured AI literacy programs in teacher education to ensure its responsible and effective integration into ELT. | |||||||
