| 内容記述 | UNESCO, as United Nations' lead agency of education and science, has played an important role to show the value and concepts to the schools all over the world, such as international understanding, international cooperation, peace, human rights, fundamental freedoms, live together, environment, development, tolerance, and sustainability since its inauguration in 1946. How are these values and concepts introduced and accepted in the international society including Japan? This paper describes the condition of adaptation of these Constitution, Recommendations and Declaration into Japanese education, such as "The Constitution of UNESCO" (1946), "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" (1948), "Recommendations on Education for International Understanding, Co-operation and Peace and Education relating to Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms" (1974), "Endorsement of the Declaration and Approval of the Draft Integrated Framework of Action of the International Conference on Education" (1995), and "the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development" (2002). | |||||
