| 内容記述 | 日本とエストニアの理科教育の比較を行った結果、①エストニアでは情報処理能力を重視した教育を行っており、学習指導要領には日本よりも多く、より具体的なICTの活用例が記載されていること、②日本の大学生はエストニアの高等教育（大学相当）を受けている学生と比較して自主的な学習時間が半分以下であること、③日本のデジタル教材『NHK for school』では、教員が欲しい教材を探しやすい工夫がなされている特徴があるのに対して、エストニアのデジタル教材『e-schoolbag』では、教員が教材をアップできるため教材が豊富にあり、閲覧者がフィードバックやコメントを残せるため、製作者が教材の修正がしやすい点が特徴的であることが明らかとなった。本研究を通して、今後の日本の理科教育には、現在のICT教育の特徴に加え、エストニアのようにアップデート可能なデジタル教材が活用できるなど、教員・生徒共にICT教育を利用しやすい環境づくりが重要になると考えられる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Comparing science education in Japan and Estonia showed that (1) Estonia provides education with an emphasis on information processing ability, and the ministry's curriculum guideline contains more specific examples of ICT utilization than Japan; (2) Japanese university students have less than half the independent study time compared to students receiving higher education (equivalent to a university) in Estonia; and (3) while the Japanese digital teaching material “NHK for school” is designed to make it easier for teachers to find teaching materials they want, the Estonian digital teaching material “e-schoolbag” allows teachers to upload teaching materials. We clarified that it is characteristic that the creators can easily modify the abundant amount of teaching materials and the viewers can leave feedback and comments. Through this research, for the future of science education in Japan, in addition to the current features of ICT education, it will be important to create an environment in which both teachers and students can easily use ICT education, such as the use of editable digital teaching materials as in Estonia. | |||||
