| 内容記述 | 近世ヨーロッパ世界においては、国家的枠組の強化に伴い、諸勢力間の軍事衝突やその危険性が増加したことにより、軍事的な専門性をもって国家に貢献する個人・家系としての「軍事ハウスホールド」の意義が一層高まることになった。その中には、軍事上の活躍を契機に社会的上昇を果たし、官界での影響力を獲得する者も存在したため、彼らの実態を解明することは、近世国家のエリート運用や権力構造全般を理解する上でも必須の課題となる。本稿は将来的な比較史的考察の材料として、18世紀ロシアにおけるピョートル1世期の軍事ハウスホールド、特に1722年時点で陸軍将官であった48名を対象に、その内訳や傾向性の追究を試みた。17世紀以降の軍事改革を受けて、当時のロシアでは非ロシア人の将官も全体の3割強を占めていたが、中央及び地方行政への関与、新首都サンクト=ペテルブルクへの定着度などについては、ロシア人将官との間に一定の差異も見られた。ただし個人差も大きく、所領の有無、親族関係など、さらに個人情報を集積して具体的に検討していく必要がある。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In the early modern Eurasian world, in the context of buildup of the territorial frame of each state, military conflicts between the political forces and risks of such clashes increased. Consequently, the military households, that is, the persons or the families who contributed to national interests by their militarily special skills, acquired more significance. As some of these military households raised their social statuses through their activities on the battlefields, and exerted certain influence over government policies, it seems to be necessary to clarify their real conditions also for more profoundly understanding the mechanisms for appointing the elite to various state organs and the power structures in the early modern countries. For a future comparative study, this paper attempts to present the composition of the 18th-century Russian military households under the Petrine reforms and the trends of their career patterns, particularly those of the 48 army generals as of the beginning of 1722. At that time, over 30 percent of these generals were non-Russians, partly because of the military reforms since the 17th century to Europeanize the Russian army. Between them and the Russian households, a certain difference can be seen as to their commitment to central or local administration, their possession of the private residences in St. Petersburg, the newly established Russian capital, and so on. However, as there were variations among individuals, in order to investigate more concretely and thoroughly we must accumulate their personal data, such as the estates granted to them and their relationships by blood and marriage with the other elite. | |||||
