内容記述 Astronomy education in schools is extremely challenging, since nighttime phenomena such as the observation of the starry sky must be taught during the day. To observe stars in a classroom, the MUE Mobile Telescope controlled by mobile terminals via the internet was developed. The pervasiveness of the internet and mobile terminals promotes an ICT environment in school education. In “future classrooms,” where students have their own tablet terminals, the observation of stars using the mobile telescope has been performed. The system requirements to realize the observation are; (1) all students can access to the control PC of the telescope, (2) only one student can control the telescope, and (3) a teacher can manage the access rights of students. To achieve this, the two-stage remote desktop systems are applied. The first stage is applied between the telescope control server and a teacher’s PC, while the second stage is applied between the teacher’s PC and all the students’ tablets. TeamViewer is utilized for the second-stage remote desktop to fulfill the requirements. The observation of stars using this system was performed with 19 students in December 2017. As a result, ease of use of the mobile telescope improved, and the merits of observation using a mobile telescope were deeply understood by students.
