| 内容記述 | This study consisted of two components. Part one was a survey of literature related to the way folk performing arts are learnt in schools and its educational effect on students. This survey showed that students developed an enthusiastic attitude and learnt to appreciate and enjoy dancing through activities in their physical education classes. Using folk performing arts are as a part of their annual sports day and other activities, deepened their sense of unity and connection with the local community. As a part of the Integrated Study classes, they enhanced their understanding of folk performing arts and developed in them a sense of pride in their hometown. These are the major findings of previous studies on the subject. In the second part of this study, data were collected from an experiential kabuki lesson at a middle school. Questions were drafted based on the data acquired from part one; the students who took classes in kabuki were asked to complete a questionnaire. The results showed that the students had strong sense of positive feelingsabout continuing the tradition, unity and achievement. They also had sense of understanding about the local area,love for their hometown and achievement of new body movement had not experienced before. These educational effects were as anticipated. |
