| 内容記述 | 自我アイデンティティは自分自身の同一性と持続性の自覚であるが、つねに生成の途上にあり、変化しつつあるものでもある。道徳的アイデンティティは道徳性に関するアイデンティティであり、私たちの道徳的判断基準の基盤となっている。道徳的アイデンティティは、自身が帰属意識をもつコミュニティのなかで身につけられるものであり、私たちは自身の属するコミュニティにおいて「善き生」のイメージを生き方のモデルとして受け取る。ただしそれは無条件にではなく、私たちはコミュニティ内部で共有されている価値や規範に違和感を覚えたり反発したりすることもある。道徳的心理学は私たちの道徳的行動が思考よりもむしろ直観や情動に強く影響されていることを証拠立てているが、道徳的アイデンティティはこうした直観や情動のレベルと結びついたものであり、思考によって吟味されたり矯正されたりする。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Ego Identity is a sense of one’s own identity and persistence. It is variable in the long run, because its formation is always in progress. Moral identity is about our morality, and it is also variable. Moral identity gives us foundation of our moral judgements. We often have several different identities, which sometimes conflict each other. Likewise, we can say it is possible for us to have different moral identities. We form our moral identities in community to which we have a sense of belonging. Community gives us an image of“ good life”, and we usually regard it as our own goal of living, but sometimes we feel uncomfortable with values and norms shared in the community or oppose them. Moral psychology shows that our moral judgements and actions are based on our intuitions and emotions rather than on our thinking, and we can say our moral identities are related with such intuitions and emotions, and it can be tested or sometimes corrected by our thinking. | |||||
